J&J Chocolate Chalet is the creation of Jan Rock and her daughter, Jamie Horstmann. Based in Edwardsville, IL, the two of them started crafting fine chocolates and selling locally. Their artisan, hand made chocolate was such a hit that soon Jan and Jamie had customers from all over the country wanting to enjoy their chocolate thanks to word-of-mouth from other extremely satisfied customers. In early 2009, J&J Chocolate Chalet caught the attention of the media and was featured in articles by The Telegraph and The Alestle.
